Christa Chadwick, the manager of the Parksville SPCA, is one of Craig Daniell's hand-picked "Daniell's Darlings". Her husband, Hugh Coghill, is Chadwick's husband and one of "Craig's Commandos". Coghill is now a Senior Animal Protection Officer for Vancouver Island (the irony in the title 'animal protection' is sad and infuriating), promoted from the position of Manager of the Surrey SPCA, one of the most prolific of killing SPCAs in the province. Chadwick earned her spurs by implementing CAMP, the SPCA's dog assessments tests, so ruthlessly that she earned the enmity of many SPCA branch staff some of whom finally ignored her diktats.
