PETA exposed for killing thousands of dogs, cats, pups, and kittens

Two years ago, PETA was exposed for killing animals that it had decided were not "adoptable" (sellable). No one knows how many thousands or hundreds of thousands of dogs and cats PETA killed, but it also killed puppies and kittens at its Virginia shelter/pound. Its employees lied to veterinarian staff, telling them that they would find good homes for surrendered puppies and kittens and then immediately killed them. When PETA was charged with cruelty, it was found not guilty for the simple reason that it is not against the law to kill animals (how would meat-eaters have meat if it were?), just against the law to inflict cruelty. All PETA would admit to was that it was disrespectful of their staff to throw the bodies in dumpsters.
