Just because someone says, "money is no object" or they take their dog for a walk every day, is not a valid reason to think they are "responsible owners". Obviously the people the own the old dog are not responsible...just getting lazy and selfish when this old soul needs them most. This poor old dog has given its best years to these people only to be almost tossed away like a stinky rag. Shame on them.
