Kim Robinson, trapper, hunter, and whatever other title you want to give him, is no law-abiding citizen. According to Metro News (Weekend, April 18 - 20, 2008) he was convicted in May 2001 of two charges of trafficking in bear gall bladders and banned from hunting for four years, from 2003 to 2007.

As well, a 2001 conviction for shooting a bear and failing to remove the edible parts, was appealed and subsequently overturned.
