Watching the pup's face during the first treatment was illuminating

In 2004, an 8 week puppy in foster care climbed over a baby gate and broke her back. She was paralyzed from the shoulders down. A consult with Canada West provided some very bad news. Nothing could be done for the puppy.

The foster mom contacted a friend who she had recently encountered while shopping. The friend is a Dr. of Traditional Chinese medicine and while her patients are normally human, she was accepted to give treatments at a Langley veterinary clinic.

The pup saw a traditional vet prior to the accupuncture treatment to ensure nothing else was wrong. Both doctors saw the xrays.

Watching the pup's face during the first treatment was illuminating. As the Dr. made contact with nerve routes the pup would react with wide eyes and sighing. The second treatment showed the pup could take a couple of steps and by the fifth, she was walking, albeit shakily. She had 10 treatments over 3 months. The treatments were very affordable.

Today she's 4 years old and runs like the wind. She is able to empty her bowel and bladder normally. The only physical difference is she has a rounded back.

Accupuncture was the cure.
