I have worked for Olympians who have done things that aren't close to what I have seen on the track, same for some dressage and other equestrians. It's not restrictricted to one area of the horse world. I also spent time as a groom at world class horse events and witnessed some pretty horrific things that were just pathetic considering who was doing what.

So you see, it's not just the racing industry, it's spread far and wide, it's just not seen by the general public and the equestrians look so much more dignified to many, well I have seen the other side there too.
