As a former volunteer of the SPCA in Burnaby who has posted here before about the injustices I have seen at the SPCA, I am shocked and disgusted that the SPCA is using donor's money to sue a rescue organization! What exactly is their point? Is nobody allowed to ask questions? As a volunteer, I never received adequate responses to my questions about why dogs were killed. I was very worried when new branch managers were hired as they appeared to have very little experience with dogs! I have read through this website and really wonder what on earth is so offensive to the SPCA unless they have something to hide. I wish the SPCA would spend money on the dogs in their care, seek outside opinions of dog experts before they kill, and use rescues who offer to take dogs and cats off their hands! I am very worried about any animal in their care at this moment. To attack a non-profit group and use a very expensive law firm to do so just seems crazy!
