The City wants to be no-kill and good for them. But is anyone at the City questioning the very obvious contradiction in the City considering a ban on pit bulls for being "dangerous", and the City selling pit bulls?
Who is buying the City's pit bulls? Not nice, responsible families you can be sure. So the City may be selling pit bulls to criminals, because it must sell them if it does not kill them. It does both actually, and neither is responsible or humane.
A poor, homeless pit bull, incarcerated in a cell, awaiting its fate, which given that it is a pit bull, is probably going to be more misery, or death....
