The magic word worked! Just say MEDIA and the SPCA shrivels up like the Wicked Witch in Oz

Well Constable Green just came and informed Dee that he was going to get a tree topper to get Buddy down and that he was going to seize him and take to the SPCA.

Dee phoned me and told me that, and I called BCTV. I then went outside and saw Dee talking to Constable Green. I mentioned that I had called BCTV and they were coming... and suddenly... Buddy gets to go home with Dee.

And suddenly... there was no mention of fines either.

He did however give Dee an order to take Buddy to the Vets and I was also told forcefully and rudely by Green that the SPCA only leaves cats in trees for 24 hours not 7 days as we had been told by the SPCA before. We were also told 3 days by someone at the SPCA.

Buddy is fine but is dehydrated and thin from lack of food and water. But he is very happy to be home.

Surrey has no bylaw that would allow the SPCA to fine for a treed cat
In my opinion, Dee, her son, friends, neighbors and Buddy were subjected to emotional and in Buddy's situation, physical abuse
