Apart from the other idiocies, I wonder why the writer refers to the SPCA as SHE. It's men running the show from the top! Women are the ones doing rescue and hands-on work and going along with these mini-minded men.

A website that most BC residents have never heard of is being blamed for destroying a $20,000 000 a year group! That is total b******* - all the accumulation of poor decision making from the top is what is killing the BC SPCA. If it was truly "the one true, legal, legitimate, and caring society," why were changes necessary? " What on Earth does she mean by "legitimate?" Why should somebody have to take your pet anyway? They're not disposable items to dump for free at will, although I know this happens constantly.

I guess that whoever wrote this works for the BC SPCA. She says that it is "our mandate."

I note that the swooning SPCA never bothers to reply to serious criticisms like those of the DTA4. They just roll along unhearing and uncaring. One reason to post on your board, ironically, is that this is the only way to get the SPCA people to read what you have to say! We know that Craig etc. follow the boards in detail!
