Asking everyone to please keep Lewis in their thoughts and their fingers, paws and anything and everything else they can cross crossed as he goes in for some lump removals and neuter tomorrow. If all goes well and his lumps are what we hope they are, nothing to worry about, Lewis will be going to a new home soon!!!!

A wonderful retired couple who recently lost their old GSD to old age wants to bring Lewis into their home. They saw Lewis on Petfinder and decided to take him in to honor the memory of their old dog.
Lewis will be a constant companion to the older man in the family who will be by his side at all times. Lewis will take early morning and after supper walks in his huge forested property with his new dad by his side. He will have a young sister to play with when not walking with his dad and a bed beside his parents and sister each night to sleep in. He is going to be a very happy and very lucky dog as this home is everything and more than I could have asked for Lewis.

Thank you to everyone who helped spread the word about Lewis and if I can just ask you to all keep him in your thoughts for a bit longer... I hope to tell you next time I post that he is in his wonderful new home, happy and healthy!
