Animal Advocates Watchdog
Absolutely incredible! The President of the SPCA promotes yard dogs. There is no one other reason to have a dog house unless the dog is going to spend a lot of time in the yard and needs protection from the elements. Not one decent, intelligent, animal-loving person we know owns a dog house. If applicants for any of our dogs for adoption mention "dog house", the conversation ends.
By promoting yard dogs (so proudly no less!) the SPCA is keeping company with the worst dog abusers. There is no hope for an animal welfare society that is so dark ages to lead the way in the 21st century. The very President herself does not understand the basic and most important dog need, which is to not be isolated from its pack.
I wonder if the SPCA's prize home is as nice as this one?
