SPCA volunteer snoops two weeks before the SPCA comes calling at Walkers Animal Rescue *PIC*

About two weeks before Stephanie Walker's visit from Special Constables Coghill and Eccles on May 25, a middle aged brunette came into Walker's downtown office to adopt a cat. She said that she really wanted one and that she was looking everywhere. She spent quite a while there but she did not adopt a cat. She was asked if she would like to leave her name and telephone number in case any suitable cat turned up. She did not want to do this, but she said that she would call back.
I was at an animal show at Beban Park in Nanaimo on the weekend of June 4-5, weekend helping Stephanie with her display of a llama, an alpaca + many other animals. Stephanie instantly recognised the lady. Guess where she was sitting! She was volunteering for the SPCA for the day. Stephanie went right up to her to ask if she had found a cat yet! She said no and returned quickly to behind the table. Amazing that she came to Stephanie's place for a cat when there are over 100 at the Nanaimo SPCA!

I seem to remember that something similar happened to Penny March.
