Tiger
Dog
Boxer,Pit Bull Terrier Mix

Size: Large
Age: Young
Sex: Male
ID: 19678

Notes: Tiger will need to have some basic training. Tiger does have a few problems but they can all be worked out with abit of time. Tiger does have mild aggression towards people for this he needs to be introduce to new things and new situations slowly. Tiger is very high excitalbilty and for this if he gets that extra walk or two or extra time for playing ball this will help lot.

Chica
Dog
Rottweiler Mix

Size: Large
Age: Young
Sex: Female
ID: 19203

Notes: A behaviour counselling session with our Adoption Staff is neccessary before adopting Chica. Chica may be prone to separation anxiety. She may need to get used to spending time alone slowly a few minutes at a time. Chica needs a firm guardian, and preferrably an adult only home although older children would also be okay. She would probably be okay with another dog as long as she can be alpha dog. Breed experience/knowledge preferred.

Thunder
Dog
German Shepherd Dog Mix

Size: Large
Age: Young
Sex: Male
ID: 19853

Notes: Thunder will make someone a very nice dog but he will need basic obedience training. He does know how to sit but that seams to be all that he knows.BREED KNOWLEDGE IS A MUST. Kids 15 and up are okay but no younger than 15 as Thunder is very mouthy and he does jump up a bit.Thunder does have aggression towards people for this the new Owner should introduce Thunder to new people and new situations very slowly so that he can overcome his fear of new things and new people and to build up his confidence in these situations.Thunder does have seperation anxiety and for this the new Owner can try gradual deptuare excercise, for example:The Owner can leave the dog in a room and go out the door wait for a few seconds and then go back inside and repeat these steps so that each time you go out the door it get longer and longer so that Thunder will get used to this and know that you are coming back this will take some time and lots of patience.

Quake
Dog
Shepherd,Labrador Retriever Mix

Notes: Quake is a big puppy who desperately needs some obedience training and socialization! He's prone to exciteability and requires a lot of exercise. Yes - it is what the SPCA's competition and critics have always done
Last night I checked a few of the Petfinder sites for some Lower Mainland SPCAs
I hope the SPCA goes even further and makes sure that dogs are not being left outside and tethered 24/7
