Just before Christmas BHR discovered that Parvo-Virus was present on an isolated northern island. Call after call was made to find the litter mates and parents of the infected puppy before the infection spread to other dogs in the community. The RCMP assisted BHR in finding the pup's parents who were abused, neglected and starved porch dogs.
