Unfortunately most adults think aquariums, zoos, petting zoos, etc are fun activities for their children. The consideration most adults give to the animals is little or none.

Until organizations such as the BC SPCA start giving the majority of their consideration to the animals, very little will change, as small groups like ourselves do not have the same ability to invoke media attention and real change.

The fact this is not presently happening is not surprising but it is terribly saddening and maddening considering how long the BC SPCA has had to figure this out themselves.
