My daughter has been in two SPCA CAMPS

My daughter has been in two SPCA CAMPS. The first one was great the second had not much to do about anything. I think the SPCA summer camps are a good idea but feel an agenda needs to be followed. Seems each branch has different set fees which I guess depend on their financial position. Caution needs to be taken on who they hire to run these camps. One - they are dealing with children; second - when I think of an SPCA CAMP I think of animal welfare. Plus I don't want the SPCA camp to be something separate to the SPCA. Kids at the camp not being allowed to interact with the animals at the shelter in case of stress to the animals is thinking positive for the animals but maybe something should be arranged to allow certain animals to interact. Why have a camp at the site if you don't want the kids in the building?
