So the zoo vet doesn't find anything wrong. The fact is 19 months of living on concrete is so so so wrong. Especially a small confined area and a pool too small to give relief to bones. Like to see someone (a human that is) to be placed in a bathroom to live for 19 months. What a thing that would be. We'd have RCMP investigating and whatever other government department. This should not have happened in the first place.
Don't know about anyone else, but as a bank teller for 14 years, standing on concrete kills the legs and back. I did it and it was my choice. Animals don't get a choice.
So a new pen is in place. Should have been done before she arrived. I wish people could only imagine how they would feel in the same situation.
It frustrates the heck out of me how we as people can treat animals. What goes around, comes around. One day humans will be sorry.
