This video was made by a woman by the name of Luiza Mendoza. It was finished and released Oct 15\04. It will be available on DVD\cd shortly by donation as this is a non profit project. She made this video to make people more aware of what this breed goes through and the ill treatment they endure at the hands of some "humans". The "pitbull" was specificly created to fight other dogs, and that is disgusting. As a fellow activist said to me..."pitbulls were created by monsters for monsters", we are referring to those that breed them for the fighting rings and vicious guard dogs. Pitbull fighting rings are a problem here in B.C. as well. It is kept hush, hush and no one will come forward or step up to the plate to help stop this cruel blood sport. I have tried to get people to give witness or admit to the police, or media that this does go on. Everyone is too afraid of the repercussions. It DOES go on, one of the Chilliwack Indian Reserves is suspect as well as other places, the bait dogs or the "losers" are often found along the river bank..dead. People don't want to get involved...not my problem. Well it is a problem, a huge one and we NEED to get INVOLVED if we want to stop this horrific and cruel blood sport. We need to get witnesses that have seen something, a date, a time, etc. Please watch this video, but be warned it is not for the faint of heart, it is graghic.
