Please help the Animal Defence and Anti-Vivisection Society of B.C. to
obtain every possible signature for this petition. We would like continue
the momentum of the groups Europeans for Medical Progress and the PCRM who
have recently been before the British Parliament, and present our petition
to the Federal Health Critic in the hope of sparking debate in Ottawa over
taxpayer-funded violent research on animals. Given the mounting scientific
evidence of the dangers inherent in basing human medical treatment on data
gleaned from animal experiments, we can steer clear of the animal welfare
issue and concentrate on the human health issue which hits everyone close to
home.
