Congratulations again Pacific Animal Foundation. Of all animal welfare organizations in BC that handle cats, only PAF is so effectively bringing the plight of feral cats to the attention of legislators and the public, with such well-researched reports.

There are probably several hundred women doing Trap/Neuter/Return all over BC, to prevent feral cats from being killed by pounds and SPCAs, but, as PAF understands, that is only one part of the solution. Education on the suffering of feral cats and going before councils must also be done, or the trapping, neutering and releasing will never stop as studies have proven. Only in the last few years has there been the serious attempt to educate the public and legislators that has been done by small groups like PAF.
