Isn't FIP testing unreliable? Our cat just died of FIP today. He probably got it from a kitten that we adopted from an animal shelter. Our vet said that there is no reliable FIP test so now I don't want to adopt anymore cats from shelters because they can have FIP (which is transmitted through feces) and contact between animals.
