Here is a list (that is probably only partial), of real no-kill facilities in BC; the only ones deserving of the name "shelter". The SPCA hasn't made public its list of physical or behavioural reasons it deems allowable under its euthanasia rubric, as all of these no-kill shelters have made public or are willing to. (There are dozens more no-kill societies which, like AAS, don't have shelters, instead using foster homes.)
