A dog is still property like your car
In Response To: What if the dog had been harrassed, injured, or killed, by a group of weekend louts, because of it's vulnerability? ()

I agree with about the word owner.
Until the law is changed a dog is still property like your car. You are the owner of your car therefore you are the owner of your dog.
Sad but true.
