Why just last night, I overheard a woman talking to a friend about the lawsuit the SPCA is dragging AAS through.
This woman is one of the SPCA's long - time donors.
She has written to the SPCA asking them how much money they are spending on this lawsuit, why they are doing this, and asking where the money is coming from.
They have refused to answer her questions, and she is seriously determining whether or not she will ever give them money again, as they have failed to be accountable (or even polite) to her.
Seems reasonable to me - I wouldn't donate money to a group that refused to speak with me, and appears to be wasting a huge whack of money on a lawsuit.
I'd put time and money into direct action - and watch my money be used solely to help the animals.
