What did BC SPCA Head Office tell Nichola?
In Response To: Picasso ends up dead *PIC* ()

Bob Busch, GM Operations, told Nichola that the SPCA has “a solemn duty to protect the public.”

But it only has that legal duty where it is paid to. It only has that legal responsibility where it takes money to have it.

All dog resccuers have that duty, but ethical animal welfarists pay for the rehabilitation that makes a dog no longer a public danger, or it refuses to be the agency that takes dangerous dogs and then kills them. That is the duty of the owner or the municipality.

No wonder people are confused and then angered when they find out that the SPCA is that agency.
