On June 16, 2004, some staff and volunteers at the Delta SPCA stole Cheech, while CTV's cameras were rolling - right from under the noses of SPCA management who ordered his killing. To justify this P.R. nightmare, the SPCA said Cheech is the most dangerous dog they have ever had and that he "lunges at children's throats". All lies.
