Animals will benefit when BC SPCA holds its Paws for a Cause Walks across B.C. Sept. 11.
The annual BC SPCA Walk is the premier fundraising event for homeless, injured and abused animals in B.C. Last year, the money raised by Paws for a Cause Walks helped the BC SPCA provide funds for cruelty investigations and emergency rescue and sheltering for more than 53,000 animals in need," said Lorie Chortyk, general manager of Community Relations for the BC SPCA. Walkers significantly increased pledges by using our new online system to ask co-workers, family and friends for their support via personal emails." Those who contribute online receive an instant charitable tax receipt and thank you.
Prizes will be available for the top pledge collectors, including a fantastic European cruise for two and for teams. All funds raised at Paws for a Cause Walks stay in local communities for SPCA services and programs.
Register at at www.spca.bc.ca or pick up a pledge brochure at all Petcetera stores, Scotiabank branches and SPCA branches across B.C. For more information about the walk in your area, contact your local SPCA branch or call 1-800-665-1868.

How can it be possible that all the money will stay in Coquitlam
It doesn't actually say funds raised at the local community will stay at that particular community
