4 questions: Will they ever get to the full BC SPCA board?

I have written to all the SPCA Board members to ask some important questions. I wrote individual e-mails, but all were bounced back to me. I then addressed them to board@spca.bc.ca.

It appears that President Mary Lou Troman, and/or possibly some other staff people, are making the decisions about which mail is sent to the Society's directors. There is now no way to address concerns to individual directors.

Mr. Daniell replied that “privacy concerns" were the reason that Board members' e-mail addresses are no longer available to members or to the public.

On the BC SPCA website it tells would-be correspondents "To contact the SPCA Board of Directors, please send your mail to to board@spca.bc.ca and your message will be directed to the appropriate individual(s)."

I also copied the questions below individually to Craig Daniell and I hope that he will answer them fully. As CEO, he’s the one with the information, which he is quite free to disclose. Mr. Daniell did not reply to any of the four questions.

HERE ARE THE FOUR QUESTIONS THAT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE ADDRESSED

1. Who authorised the BC SPCA to instigate a lawsuit against the Animal Advocates Society?

2. Were any Board members against this lawsuit?

3. Where in the budget does this item appear?

4. How much has this cost the BC SPCA to date?

I will look forward to hearing the evidence in court, if the case ever gets there. Ms. Stone must have the opportunity to defend herself. Maybe I'll change my mind if I have access to the SPCA evidence.

I know that my husband, a member of the BC SPCA at the time the Writ was issued, was never asked for his approval for this initiative so members did not take part in the decision making process.

I think members are giving money for animals, not to sue.

If you do take this to court, the truth will prevail
