AAS and we defendants and supporters are EXHAUSTED, financially and emotionally

OF course AAS would be the SPCA's biggest booster!! AAS and we defendants and supporters are EXHAUSTED, financially and emotionally...exhausted from phone calls from people begging AAS to do something for a suffering dog because the SPCA won't. People can not stand to see dogs chained, tied up, crying and barking out of lonliness and they beg the SPCA to do something and AAS is forever getting calls and emails from people reporting how the SPCA did nothing.

We all have lives...families, animals of our own, that need our attention. I have a young family and no longer have the time to foster and look for appropriate homes for the dogs....but then, for every dog I 'save', there are more unwanted mixed breed large dogs coming into the SPCA's facilities every day that no one wants and that the SPCA does nothing about to curb the massive unwanted breeding of these dogs.

I'd be one of the SPCA's biggest supporter if they were proactive and did something about dogs being left outside and chained 24/7 and did something about all this massive breeding of mixed breed, large dogs that often end up on chains, are bred to be guard dogs, or just plain end up with someone who doesn't care and then dumps them at the SPCA's doorstep or calls AAS to take them off their hands...

If the SPCA were to become ethical and honest, AAS would become its biggest booster

Life would be so much easier if all it took to do animal welfare was donate money to a truly animal-serving SPCA.
We would be the greatest supporters of a proactive SPCA
I lost all respect for them based on my own experience, and accounts from friends and strangers alike, long before I heard of Animal Advocates
I stopped donating to the SPCA in 1998 when they killed a dog that I was adopting *LINK*
Animal Advocates played no part in my decision
It was NOT AAS that changed my mind about donating to the SPCA - the SPCA did that themselves
It would take me a long time to trust the SPCA, but I would like to be able to
I stopped donating to the SPCA after
I knew long before AAS that the SPCA were corrupt
Even though I continued to phone the SPCA, in the end it would always be AAS that would come and give the help that was needed
After finding out some things about the SPCA's work (dog control for one)
If this dream should ever become reality
