It would take me a long time to trust the SPCA, but I would like to be able to.
In order for that to happen, I would need to know that the SPCA was working for better animal rights and welfare legislation, and enforcing it.
I would need to hear that the SPCA was doing something for the abused, neglected yard dogs, that they say they can do nothing about.
I would need to see the SPCA being active on the Native Reserves, instead of hearing them say that they are not allowed out there.
I would need to see the SPCA providing low - cost and free spay/neuter for pets, including the ones in their own facilities.
I would need to see an SPCA that does not shun it's critics, or start expensive lawsuits against them, wasting valuable money and resources that were meant for the good of the animals.
