Lorie Chortyk by defaming Beverly Parent while she was on her deathbed showed the same callous, self-serving and uninterested behaviour the BC SPCA Head Office shows in all animal/people related matters. None of us should be surprised.

The BC SPCA has never helped feral cats to any degree other than laughable. (The two small spay/neuter clinics to try and get donations which in total spayed/neutered under 50 cats can hardly be counted as anything less than a bad joke.)

The BC SPCA has killed thousands upon thousands of feral cats and kittens. They have never to my knowledge set up a program to socialize feral kittens and to rehome the mothers. The BC SPCA just this year acknowledged trap/neuter/and release but of course put ZERO dollars into the pot to help but publicised the new policy hoping I suppose for donations to their non-existent program.

This is the new BC SPCA, talk and acknowledge the good work that is done by the community rescue groups and when something tragic like death of Beverly Parent defame her while she is dying.

Personally I think the CEO, BoD and everyone involved needs to take a very hard look at themselves because what the public is seeing is very ugly.
