Ms. Troman has not answered the question of allocation of money

Ms. Troman has not answered the question of allocation of money and other resources for the pursuit of litigation.

I am not aware of any public statement by the BC SPCA ever having been made as to whether or not funds for such litigation are being derived from donations destined to animal welfare, or has the BC SPCA received funds specifically for the purpose of financing this litigation.

The word CONFIDENTIAL is a wonderful crutch, but it can not hold up when employed by a society funded almost completely by the general public. I have said many times before, that in dealing with funds donated by the public, and any animal welfare issues, the SPCA must have completely open books and work in harmony with all other animal welfare groups. If such were the case, this litigation would never have been born.

Also Ms. Troman, Defamation, as you may well know, is defined as : To spread evil reports, to attack a good reputation, or to speak ill off. The AAS, or anyone else I have ever known, including myself, never in the past ever had any intention whatsoever, nor ever did spread evil reports regarding the SPCA, attack the reputation of the SPCA, or speak ill of the SPCA.

All I am aware of is constructive criticism being put forward and postings of wrongdoings by responsible persons within the BC SPCA. The existence of a healthy SPCA in this province is paramount and its survival is foremost in everyone's interest.

BC SPCA President Mary Lou Troman's letter to AAS supporters

Nobody from the SPCA ever contacted me
President's letter raises more concerns
The SPCA should be above this sort of thing
Re: The SPCA should be above this sort of thing
Ms. Troman has not answered the question of allocation of money
MsTroman says her letter is to address concerns about the money being used, but then fails to do so
This expensive letter answers none of the concerns raised by the dedicated animal welfare workers who wrote
I would welcome the SPCA's refutation of even one of the "defamatory" accusations made against it by any one of the welfare groups throughout BC
I also look forward to a face to face discussion
