A week before Christmas Big Heart Rescue was contacted about a 6 week old puppy that had been used as a football, tossed between two inebriated teenage girls who thought it would be fun to see how far he could fly before landing on the pavement again and again and again.

The RCMP seized the puppy and sent him to Big Heart Rescue and he was immediately taken to the vet where it was discovered that he had a twisted spine, dislocated shoulder, bruising of the eye and a dent in his skull.
