Gail Moerkerken is the president and founder of Big Heart Rescue which does a great deal of animal welfare work, both rescue and spay/neuter, on the Bella Bella reserve, work which the SPCA is not doing.

More thousands spent on their lawyers at Lawson Lundell to threaten financial ruin for AAS and Gail and the others.

What will the SPCA achieve by its bullying attempts to silence critics? The financial ruin the SPCA is threatening will only deny help to suffering animals that these people pay for. It can't silence the criticism, as speech is free.

No - all the SPCA will achieve with its lawsuits is less help for suffering animals. What that says about the BC SPCA is sad indeed.
