Three estates switched from the SPCA to Forgotten Felines

After the raid on Forgotten Felines we had two men that previously had their estates willed to
the SPCA come forward and visit our shelter and interview me and the kitties. Both
men had their wills changed and now have Forgotten Felines as the recipient of their
estates. A third gentleman's lawyer indicated that the reason for the
change for his client was because of the excessive salaries paid out to the SPCA's
higher echelon. We have more and more people canceling their monthly donations
to the SPCA and choosing Forgotten Felines for a multitude of reasons.

I am happy to say that I have heard from other groups that similar activities are
happening in their organizations as well.

I find this exceptional considering the money the SPCA pays to certain staff members
to go out and convince seniors to donate their estates to themselves. The word is
slowly getting out there.

As of February 2006 about 90 other organizations are competing with the BC SPCA for donations
No wonder the SPCA is struggling financially
This is why donations are going from the SPCA to the alternative organizations

People give their money to Societies that treat them with respect
I know my money is being spent on what I intended when I donate to other animal welfare/rescue groups
