"The SPCA is also currently working on negotiations with an Island based cat rescue group to provide some funding for low income assistance families to spay and neuter their cats.

The announcement should be made sometime in the near future, Towell said."

How wonderful! Little groups setting an example for others to follow of real animal welfare and real sharing, may pay dividends for cats in Port Alberni.
