Dying crabs at Super Store

Several months ago when I was at the Langley Canadian Superstore my seven yr. old son and walked by the fish department. They too have "live crabs' for sale. There were one or two that were obviously dead as they were floating belly up. My son used to ask to go see the lobsters and crabs. I took him over and explained to him how terrible and cruel it was to keep them like this. I showed him the dead ones. He thought that maybe they got sick and died. No I told him they suffocated or starved to death. He said, "They must feed them right Momma?"(He was talking about the ones that were alive.) I stopped an employee in that department and showed him the dead crab. The water was filthy and I told him so. I also asked if the crabs were fed, he replied "No". So not only do they "live" stacked five or six or ten high with their claws tied they are also starved to death . This is disgraceful. I too would like to see any and all "live" animals removed from grocery stores. Even better would be if no animal was ever grown for food.
