Rabies shots also protect dogs from the SPCA

AAS has its dogs vaccinted against rabies so that, in the case that any of them were to bite anyone, they wouldn't have to be quarantined.

A bite has only happened once in 15 years of dog rescue by AAS (because we invest so much in behaviour rehabilitation for our dogs), and it did no more than just barely break the skin and it happened on the dog's "property", but when the SPCA came with its "dog-catcher" hat on, in its noble paid job of protector of humans from dogs, threatening to seize the dog, we had the rabies certificate ready.
