It comes to mind the saying by Ghandi, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." China has long been accused of human rights atrocities. Why China was awarded the Olympics in Beijing is beyond my belief. Amnesty International has long noted how it treats its people in terrible ways; now PETA is noticing the same. This is a nation that needs to find its heart.
