WereWoofles Wag'oween"

Many people brought their happy, friendly, well-behaved dogs to "WereWoofles Wag'oween" between 1 and 4PM in Market Square on October 28th.
This event was both fun and educational. Many thanks to Citizen Canine http://www.citizencanine.org/ and Woofles Barking Boutique in Market Square for putting on this event and inviting Greater Victoria Animals' Crusaders to participate.
So many smiling people and dogs!
It is great to see a fun event happen that combines education about Citizen Canine, responsible dog ownership, the CKC Canine Good Neighbour Program with good old plain fun.
Greater Victoria Animals' Crusaders http://www.animalcrusaders.ca/ appreciated the opportunity to discuss the new and special programs we are now running in Victoria as well as spay/neuter.
The GVAC funded "Vets for Pets" Street Clinic which is held monthly at "Our Place" benefitted from the donations from the costume contest - Thank you.
People also asked about our spay/neuter program as well as our other programs ( providing foster care for the pets of Women and Children entering Transition Houses is another new one) and it is nice to just be able to chat with people about them while meeting their well behaved dogs..
Seeing friends and socializing at these events is also great fun for humans and dogs alike.
