Betty Krawczyk; last time jailed she was not allowed out to visit her dying son

Environmental rights activist, Betty Krawczyk, has been jailed again, this time for ten months, for her part in the Sea-to-Sky Highway expansion protest at Eagleridge Bluffs.

Ms. Krawczyk, 78, receives unreasonable penalties for her refusal to back down in her defence of our mother Earth.

The last time she was jailed, for a year, the courts did not see fit to allow her some time out to visit her dying son.

They treat her worse than people who have committed atrocious acts against other people, and in my opinion, they do so solely to break her spirit.

Clearly, they underestimate her spirit.
