President Troman,

On the heels of a Chilliwack Times article (published: Tuesday, February 13, 2007) I am writing to you to ask for written confirmation that a litter of puppies was euthanized at the Chilliwack SPCA because they had ringworm. The euthanasia was allegedly done on Friday, February 16, 2007.

While at the Chilliwack Animal Control shelter on Saturday, February 17, 2007, I took in a conversation between two people; one was a uniformed employee of CAC.

The employee related how a BC SPCA employee from the Chilliwack SPCA was "very upset" and reported that a litter of puppies was killed because they had a treatable case of ringworm.

I look forward to your timely response.

Sincerely
Donna Toews
