The Vancouver pound managed not to kill for parvo

We had two cases of parvo while I was the Manager of the Vancouver pound in 1998. We scrambled the first time, but only lost the initially infected dog. We learned our lesson for the second time round. We had established a protocol and followed it. We didn't have the luxury of moving dogs to other shelters (or the SPCA helping us!). Second time there were no fatalities.

What a shame!
