Animal Advocates Watchdog

Doesn't the North Vancouver Animal Shelter have some responsibility here?

When the Shelter was approached to 'house' 6 week old pups, knowing they were going to be shuttled about and trained for movies, would they not have had the responsibility to refuse to take them in?

Surely they were aware that these pups were too young to have been transported in the first place, and also too young to remain healthy with all the stress placed upon them.

Once again, financial gain clouds the perspective and paves the way to more animal cruelty.

No animal belongs in 'show business'. No one can say that animals are in anything resembling a natural habitat while they are being exploited for human gain. Perhaps the various animal protection agencies would be better to put a stop to this practice instead of 'monoriting' the treatment of creatures who have no say in how they are utilized.

Dogs, cats, etc. etc. gain no benefit from their use in our entertainment
