Ladybug shows what an amazing difference less than a month makes in easily-treated mange. Ladybug's before and after pictures in the ad in the Province show what can be done with $12.50 of Advantage Multi and about $30 of antibiotics and proper food. Good luck Ladybug.

BC SPCA Rescues Badly Neglected Huskies Near Williams Lake
A team of BC SPCA animal cruelty officers rescued 16 Malamute-Husky cross dogs last month from a rural property near Williams Lake. The dogs - four adults and 12 puppies -- were in horrific shape, suffering from starvation, dehydration, infected open wounds, massive untreated tumours, eye infections, anaemia, parasites, and severe demodex - a serious skin condition.
"One of the dogs, a five-month-old puppy named Ladybug, was suffering from one of the worst cases of demodex that the veterinarian had ever seen, even in textbooks," said Risa Leake, manager of the BC SPCA's Vernon Branch, where Ladybug is being cared for. "The demodex had been left untreated for so long that she had no hair left on her body, just raw skin. She was in grave condition."
Less than a month later, after intensive veterinary care in SPCA custody, Ladybug has regained her strength and has even grown a soft new coat of fur. "She has made a miraculous recovery and we can't wait to find her a loving home where she will get the attention and care she deserves for the rest of her life," said Leake.
