This is a petition to stop trophy hunting on our beautiful bc bears. Thus far, only 814 names are on it. This is found on the Care2 website. Unfortunately, the peition is closed now.

We really need to stop this carnage for all the right reasons. What vile crimes have any non-human beings ever committed against the biggest, meanest predator of all that they deserve such brutal treatment? I have written to Premier Campbell about this and I suppose if a flurry of letters are sent to him and his cronies, perhaps he can be convinced that dead bears do not generate as much money as live ones. Unfortunately, monetary values seem to be the tool to reach this government.
