How anyone who eats the animals they claim to love can rationalize that is beyond me. They know all about the vile suffering too, but they aren't about to give up satisfying their love of fat and flesh just so that some animals' suffering will end. They're hypocrites even though many of them are truly nice, kind, compassionate people. But they won't extend their compassion to denying themselves the pleasure of meat.
