I'm confused! I thought providing care for cats and dogs hit by cars would be an important aspect of relieving distress. Why isn't the SPCA still doing this? Surely they don't need to be the animal control contractor in order to help injured animals.

Doesn't the SPCA have an emergency after hours number that police and individuals can call to get help for injured animals?
