Producers Nancy Richert and Kathy Dziubek of Animal, a production/post production boutique, were kind enough to help us end the untold suffering of dogs in dog fighting operations.

What better way to give dogs subjected to the cruelties of dog fighting a voice then to, well, give them a voice!

OTHER INFORMATION AND VIDEO AT THE WEBSITE.

The Knock Out Dog Fighting program is an award-winning anti-dogfighting campaign that was formed to combat the cruel and inhumane activity of dog fighting.

The program partners with schools, juvenile detention facilities, community centers, community-based organizations, dog trainers, law enforcement agencies and gang prevention task forces with the goal of stopping cruelty and abuse.

The Knock Out Dog Fighting program identifies the underlying reasons kids and young adults are fighting dogs and provides resources and youth intervention programs to address those issues. Team members work on the ground level to help at-risk youth make better choices, develop empathy for animals, self-respect and healthy lifestyles.

Knock Out Dog Fighting athlete team members take their responsibility of being role models very seriously. They know that because they are professional athletes there is a child somewhere watching what they say and what they do. They know their actions can impact lives.

Knock Out Dog Fighting team members are out in the community, on the ground level, in schools, community centers and juvenile detention facilities with positive role models teaching children and young adults that it's not a sign of strength, power or greatness to fight, torture or abuse animals.

Pit Bulls Aren't The Only Victims

Dog fighting is a form of animal abuse and studies show that there is a direct correlation between those who abuse animals and those who go on to commit violent crimes against people. When dog fighting is condoned and even glorified by adults and role models, children become desensitized to violence and the suffering of others.

If we can stop a child from abusing animals, we not only save the animals, we save the child and also the community.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! High profile arrests show how prevalent dog fighting is in America. It's huge and it goes on everywhere. Dog fighting takes place in every state and it cuts across all races and income levels. Condemning dog fighting is not enough. ACTION needs to be taken to stop this horrific activity. We are taking a proactive approach and working to stop dogs from ending up in dog fighting operations in the first place and suffering untold horrors at the hands of those entrusted to care for them. But we can't do it alone! Be apart of the solution and donate today so together we can Knock Out Dog Fighting once and for all!
